Over the course of writing for this blog, the Writer Femmes have become convicted to pray and intercede for our readers. Our words are meaningless and empty without the transforming power of prayer behind them.
We have been humbled by your daily readership and words of encouragement. We now stand with you in prayer over the struggles you are facing in your life, whether it be homelessness, infertility, unemployment, depression, overeating, anorexia, bulimia, physical illness, physical or sexual abuse, emotional or spiritual abuse, domestic violence or disillusionment with your relationship with God.
Please use this page to list your prayer requests. Know that we will access this page daily and lift you up before God the Father over your needs. You are a gift to us, and the least we can do is get on our hands and knees for you, our friends.
In Friendship and in Love,
“You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father.” John 14:13

“Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.” James 5:16
“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him. ” 1 John 5:14-15

For Satuki: Father-God, it amazes me that it is impossible for you to lose track of even one of your children. It amazes me that there is not a moment that goes by that you don’t know the exact condition of our heart or exactly what we need. Lord, sometimes it is hard to know this is true when we are suffering or at sea in the unknown. Lord, you know where Satuki is right now. You have prepared for her a safe home and a family who loves her. Father, I pray that she would hear your voice. I pray that Satuki’s path would become straight and narrow in your walk and in your will. Lord, because I have a taste of your faithfulness, I know that, right now, your children near Satuki are already feeling your prompting to seek this young, vibrant woman. Father, I pray that your will be done as there is no other good and perfect way. In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
For my friends going through marital hardship, separation and divorce: Lord, I pray that you would be near to the broken-hearted. Psalm 34:18. I pray that you would heal marriages where it is possible. I pray that you would give strength to the weak and tired spirits of those walking through brokenness. Protect the little ones whose worlds are crashing and changing. Lord, help me to be love where someone feels unlovely. God, please use me to ease my friends’ pain. Thank you God that you have a plan when there seems to be no future. In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
For the girls of the South Florida MeetUp: Father God, I pray for the courage and faith to fight, defeat and OVERCOME cancer; I pray for patience and hope to work through a difficult, trying marriage; I pray for financial peace to be restored into our households; I pray for the ability to embrace new beginnings and fresh starts in life; I pray for wisdom and guidance to embark upon new, God-inspired adventures; I pray for Your breath of life to wash over us and embolden us with renewed passion and creativity; I pray for friendships to take hold with deep, abiding roots that will flourish and grow into eternity. Thank You, Jehovah God, for your faithfulness and your mercies that renew every day. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray, Amen.
For Pink Kitchen: Lord, fill your daughter with the sweetest memories of Grandmom. We ask you to flood her with peace, comfort and serenity during this time. Help her to feel Your love through the whispers of the Holy Spirit and from the embrace of those around her. Show her that Grandmom’s legacy lives on through her and her daughter, and in everyone and everything that she touches. Thank You for keeping her and her family close to Your heart. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
For Our Friends Who Have Been Diagnosed With Cancer (written by JMathis‘ mom-in-law especially for them):
Lord, our Father, our Jehovah Rapha,
We come boldly to Your throne with praise and thanksgiving to obtain mercy and grace in this time of need. You are our God and we bless Your name, Lord. We stand firmly on Your Word and thank You that You are a God of healing and restoration. We come in agreement and believe in the Name of Jesus for total healing for our friends who have been diagnosed with cancer.
Each of our friends is the temple of the Holy Spirit and we agree in Jesus’ Name that infirmity is not allowed to dwell in any of their bodies. Jesus purchased their freedom from disease and we take authority over cancer and declare that its power has been forever broken over their bodies. Healing is God’s will and we proclaim the Word of God victorious over the forces of the enemy. Jesus bore their diseases and they are wholly and completely healed in Jesus’ Name. God’s Word is alive and full of power; it is active, operative, energizing and effective and is accomplishing healing in their bodies at this very moment.
Just as Jesus spoke to the fig tree and it obeyed Him, we speak with the authority of Jesus’ Name, to the growths and tumors in their bodies and command that they dry up from the roots and be gone forever. We believe for Jesus’ healing power to be manifested in their bodies and we apply it by faith. Jesus said, “Whatsoever things you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them”. We believe and decree that “Our Friends are Healed of the Lord” and free from any abnormality in their bodies.
We pray for direction and the wisdom of the Holy Spirit for the physicians and medical staff who are involved with their diagnosis and treatment. We believe that they will see the miraculous healing power of the Lord manifested in our friends. We thank You for Your anointing which flows through our friends and permeates their spirits, souls and bodies. We agree that any chemotherapy will be successful and will only destroy the diseased cells and will not produce undesired or harmful side effects.
We ask You to overwhelm our friends with Your perfect peace as they trust in You and fix their thoughts on You, Lord. You alone are their help and in the shadow of Your wings they will rejoice and cling to You as You uphold them.
We praise You Lord, that You hear our voice when we call out to You and You answer our prayer. We pray this prayer and thank You in Jesus’ Name, the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

(Thanks for writing this prayer, Mommy. Love you…)
I pray that as I learn to not collect offenses, I realize that it’s okay to feel pain, but God help me not want to lash out. Help me be the grace to others that you are to me… Also please be with my finances and future. My husband’s work and our transportation issues. I need air in my car, an eye exam and glasses and to see the Dr. Please be with me in all areas of my life. In Jesus name, Amen…
Father, I thank You that You have made such an amazing individual in Michelle. Father, You know every hair on her head and every need in her heart. Lord, I come into agreement with Michelle that her prayers for provision are answered. Jehovah Jireh, thank You for hearing her cries and for making a way for her and her husband, where there seemingly is no way in the natural. Supply their needs exceedingly and abundantly beyond their expectations, where they have no choice but to say that it is only You, Lord, who could have met these needs. Lord, You are the God of miracles, and we ask You to pour out Your healing and sustaining rain on Michelle and her husband. Fill them with the peace of Your Holy Spirit, and help them never to lose the yearning in their hearts for You. Lord, I know that You have called them to great things, and I pray for that calling to bear forth tremendous fruit, so that their testimonies can change the lives of the hurting. You are a good God, and we give You all of the glory and honor for hearing our prayers. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.

For Pink Kitchen:
God sees your tears and your heartache. He sees your frustration and your worry. He is there to take these weights off of you. He will not let you fall. Psalms 55:22.
Lord, we just lift up Pink Kitchen in prayer and thank you for a new sense of peace, rest and joy for our incredible, new friend. Refresh her, Lord; rejuvenate her with strength, courage and fearlessness; remove each of these burdens from her shoulders, for they are just too great for her to bear. Lord, we just ask you to strengthen our friendship with her, so that she always knows that she has good friends here who are lifting her up before You.
Lord, let this new city be a haven for her, a source of comfort. Help her not to have regret or sadness, but fill her with excitement and amazement over this new journey You have placed before her. Take away emotional strongholds from those around her, so that they are able to be free from bondage, and full of Your love, grace and restoration.
You are a great God, and we believe You can turn this around for Pink Kitchen. You are a God of miracles, a God of second chances, and a God of new beginnings–we pray and believe all of this for Pink Kitchen, in the transformational, life-changing Name of Jesus. Amen.
We love you, Pink Kitchen!!
that my soul be enflammed with the fiire of the Holy Spirit.
For my friend Michelle who just tragically lost her husband. I can’t even begin to imagine what your heart feels like right now. I can’t imagine your thoughts or dreams in the night. I can’t imagine the strength you are mustering to get up with your kids every day and starting another day without him. I can’t pretend to know. My deepest compassion is for you and your family. My prayer for you is that when the breeze blows upon your cheek that you would be filled with the knowledge that there exists a God who has a burning love for you. That His love exists in forms that we cannot humanely imagine until our heart is wrecked by what we cannot withstand on our own. I pray that believers in your path would minister to you, serve and love you. I pray that you would know Him as your God and your friend. Amen.
This is for fellow parents – I recently had an experience that caused to me stop in my tracks and pray with my daughter. I am sorry that there was no police officer around and I am sorry that I could not determine how I could insert myself into the situation to help. I saw a mom furiously strangle her preteen son and scream and curse in anger in front of BurgerFi in Coral Springs. She stopped strangling him after a few seconds but kept walking and screaming in rage.
Parents, when we lack self control, when we lose our self to anger and rage . . . Father God, convict our hearts to stop. In whatever form that comes for the believer and unbeliever alike . . . Convict us God to remember your gentleness and kindness towards us. Help us see ourselves in our sin so that we would repent and seek wise counsel. Help us remember that there is no problem to big for you to solve. Help us remember the precious role You have given us to help our children see You through us. Protect our children Lord. I am sorry God that some us brutally fail and fall into abuse and neglect of our children. God, despite ourselves, be the Savior and Redeemer to our children. Amen.
I pray for my friend Connie who has been going through a very hard divorce. She has asked for favor and truth at her upcoming hearing. God, your goodness is unfathomable. We can hardly know what You have in store for us. Lord, I pray that You would show up for Connie in a big way. I pray that you would work out details in her divorce that she cannot even imagine being resolved. I pray that all of the parties involved would be moved towards your will God. I pray that as all moves in Your direction, Connie would be deeply moved by Your great love.
God, I come to You . . . to bring before you our Monday morning bible study. I pray that You would send us off into 10 weeks of deep study for Your glory. I pray that we would rely heavily on our trusted friendships. To draw out real, genuine faith from one another. Help us to be authentic. Through this study, help us to grow our faith and live for You at all costs. Thank you God.
